Terms of the quote service

The Deska i Dłuto website is a demonstration project. The workshop, its address, tax identification number, and named individuals are fictional. The order form and payment show an example transaction flow and do not create an actual obligation to pay.

The service seller is Deska i Dłuto Pracownia Stolarska, ul. Rzemieślnicza 14, 61-491 Poznań, Poland, NIP: 000-000-00-00 (fictional).

The order covers a "measurement and quote" service for customers in Poznań and the surrounding area, within approximately 50 km.

• Travel to the customer and taking measurements.
• Preparation of a design with a visualisation and no more than two revisions.
• Preparation of a quote showing material and labour costs separately.

The service price is PLN 200 gross, payable in advance as a deposit. If the customer later orders furniture, the deposit will be deducted from the value of that order.

Prices shown in the price list are indicative. The final furniture price is stated in the quote prepared after the measurement.

The customer places an order using the form and provides their full name, email address, phone number, type of service, and description. The contract is concluded when payment of the deposit is confirmed.

In the demonstration test mode, simulated payment confirmation is treated as the equivalent of payment confirmation.

In this version of the website, the Stripe payment gateway is a mock. Payment is only simulated, no money is collected, card data is not collected, and no obligation to pay arises.

The workshop will contact the customer within 1 business day after the order is placed to arrange the measurement. The measurement will take place within 7 days, and the design and quote will be prepared within 48 hours after the measurement.

The service includes a visualisation and no more than two design revisions. The quote states the material and labour costs separately.

The customer is not required to order furniture after receiving the design and quote. If the customer places such an order, the PLN 200 deposit will be deducted from its value.

A consumer may withdraw from a distance contract within 14 days without giving a reason. The withdrawal statement may be sent to kontakt@deskaidluto.pl.

If the consumer expressly requests the measurement to be performed before the 14-day period ends and the service is performed, the right to withdraw expires. If the consumer withdraws after performance has begun, the refund will be reduced proportionally by the value of the service supplied up to the time of withdrawal.

Any amount due will be refunded within 14 days using the same payment method used for the payment, subject to the proportional settlement rules for a service started at the consumer's request.

No actual payment is made in test mode, so any refund is only a simulation.

A complaint may be submitted by email to kontakt@deskaidluto.pl or in writing to ul. Rzemieślnicza 14, 61-491 Poznań, Poland. The complaint should describe the problem and state the requested solution.

The workshop will respond within 14 days after receiving the complaint.

A consumer may seek assistance from a municipal or district consumer ombudsman and use the European Commission's ODR platform for the out-of-court resolution of disputes concerning contracts concluded online.

Personal data connected with an order is processed in accordance with the website privacy policy. The contract is governed by Polish law, without limiting rights granted to consumers under mandatory law.
